Keeping great people is hard. When morale has taken a hit, doing repair quickly is essential. Whether it’s rumors of folding, lay-offs, a recent firing, or a recent downsize where survivors lost good friends, morale is essential for productivity.

It’s easiest to build resilient culture early in a team’s life, but there are some ideas we can use to help adjust the team’s course and try to restore a sense of peace and trust.

There are several lay services I offer in the area of conflict resolution:

  • individual coaching with disruptive team members
  • facilitated conversations among the team and a disruptive member about something specific
  • guided group sessions for teams coping with hardship together
    • with the intention of coming up with clear goals, action steps, and a brief summary of progress made
